Sarah Johnson
enters her first season as the assistant women's volleyball
coach.
She assists Head Coach Luis Carvalho with all phases of the
program including recruiting, scouting, administering practice
and match coaching. |

Johnson has a wealth of volleyball experience. She was a
two-time All-State selection as a middle hitter while at East
Providence High School. Johnson earned multiple MVP, All-Class
and All-Division honors during her high school career. |
|

|
She has competed at two USA National Volleyball Championships as
part of the Yankee Volleyball Association. Johnson’s team won the
Gold Medal at the 2009 National Tournament held in Minneapolis,
Minn. |
|
|
|
|
She
has worked the summer camp circuit extensively as a coach at
various clinics. |
|
|
|
|
Johnson
earned a bachelor’s degree in studio art with a concentration in
graphic design from Rhode Island College in 2006. She minored in
communications. |
|
|
|
In
addition to her coaching duties, Johnson is a freelance graphic
designer. |
|
|
|
|
She is single and resides in East Providence. |
