received the Helen M. Murphy Award, signifying her as RIC’s top
female senior student-athlete in 1990.
She majored in psychology and earned a bachelor’s degree
in early childhood education from
Rhode Island College in 1990. She was employed as a head teacher at
a local preschool until her marriage. In 1998, Greene embarked on
her current career, educating her children at home.
She has worked with the girls'
track & field team at a local high school on a volunteer basis,
providing instruction in the long, triple and high jump events. In
2008, Greene was elected and served as a Rhode Island delegate to
the republican national convention in Minneapolis.
