Rhode Island College Menís Cross Country Update #2

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jacksonís team finished second at the Ray Dwyer Invitational, hosted by RIC, on Sept. 21 with a team score of 52.0. Eastern Connecticut won the meet with a score of 29.0.

 

Freshman Emmanuel Karngar (Providence, RI) finished first overall with a time of 23:15.

 

Junior Misha Knuettel (Warwick, RI) finished second with a time 23:17.

 

Sophomore Joe Parenteau (Smithfield, RI) finished fifth with a time of 23:51.

 

Junior Mike Basilico (Johnston, RI) finished 18th with a time of 24:39.

 

Senior Mike Daniels (Warwick, RI) finished 26th with a time of 25:30.

 

Sophomore Matt Faria (Seekonk, MA) finished 32nd with a time of 25:54.

 

Sophomore Josh Precourt (Woonsocket, RI) finished 48th with a time of 27:30.

 

Freshman Derek Freitas (North Kingstown, RI) finished 53rd with a time 28:20.

 

Senior Brian Carney (Barrington, RI) finished 58th with a time of 35:56.

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Tri-State Invitational, hosted by CCRI, on Saturday, Oct. 5.
