Women’s Cross Country Update #2

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team finished third at the Ray Dwyer Invitational, hosted by RIC, with a score of 79.0. Bridgewater State won the meet with a team score of 35.0.

 

Freshman Kim Cadden (Warwick, RI) placed fifth overall with a time of 22:38.

 

Junior Rebecca Horton (Seekonk, MA) placed 12th with a time of 23:42.

 

Freshman Bridget Hjerpe (Cranston, RI) placed 20th with a time of 24:37.

 

Junior Michele Dunphy (Cranston, RI) placed 26th with a time of 25:34.

 

Sophomore Amanda Amend (West Warwick, RI) placed 27th with a time of 25:37.

Freshman Temitayo Adenodi (Woonsocket, RI) finished 51st with a time of 33:18

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Tri-State Invitational, hosted by CCRI, on Saturday, Oct. 5.
