Women’s Cross Country Update #5

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team finished seventh (ten teams) with a score of 177.0 and placed fifth in the Little East (five teams) with a score of 122.0 at the 2002 Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by Keene State on Saturday, Nov. 2. Keene State captured both the Alliance and Little East crowns with scores of 29.0 and 22.0 respectively.

 

Freshman Kim Cadden (Warwick, RI) finished 29th with a time of 21:35.

 

Freshman Bridget Hjerpe (Cranston, RI) finished 39th with a time of 22:07.

 

Junior Rebecca Horton (Seekonk, MA) placed 47th with a time of 22:31.

 

Junior Michele Dunphy (Cranston, RI) placed 61st with a time of 23:15.

 

Sophomore Amanda Amend (West Warwick, RI) finished 67th with a time of 23:56.

 

Freshman Temitayo Adenodi (Woonsocket, RI) finished 84th with a time of 28:55

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the 2002 ECAC Division III Championships on Saturday, Nov. 9.
