COLEMAN POWERS WARRIORS PAST RIC 60-39

Providence, RIAllison Coleman posted a triple-double to lead Eastern Connecticut State University past Rhode Island College, 60-39. Coleman had 21 points, 17 rebounds and 11 steals to record her third career triple-double.

Deanne Prior chipped in with 14 points and five boards. Coleman was the story, posting game-highs in points, rebounds and steals, for the Warriors.

Eastern Connecticut improves to 15-2 overall and 6-1 in the Little East Conference. RIC falls to 2-14 overall and 1-6 in the LEC.

Abby Ferri was a bright spot for RIC with 14 points and six boards in a losing effort.

In upcoming action, RIC will host UMass-Dartmouth on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
