Rhode Island College Women’s Cross Country Update #2

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team competed at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Sat. Sept. 20, the Anchorwomen did not place as a team. Trinity College won the event with a score of 56.

Sophomore Kim Cadden (Warwick, RI) was the Anchorwomen’s top runner placing 119th with a time of 21:33 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. She finished fourth with a time of 22:43 at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11.

Senior Becky Horton (Seekonk, MA) finished 164th with a time of 23:18 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. She was the Anchorwomen’s top runner, placing third with a time of 22:27, at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11.

Freshman Teresa Kenneally (Florence, MA) finished 177th with a time of 24:31 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. She placed sixth with a time of 25:11 at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11.

Freshman Melissa Henault (Pascoag, RI) placed 189th with a time of 25:21 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. She finished 10th with a time of 25:30 at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11.

Sophomore Meghan Labossiere (Glendale, RI) placed 18th with a time of 29:23 at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11.

Freshman Brandy Bates (Cranston, RI) placed fifth with a time of 24:58 at the Ocean State Invitational on Sept. 11.

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Ray Dwyer Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 27.
