Brian Schimmel Selected To Play
in the NEISL Senior All-Star Game

 

Providence, RIóRhode Island College senior Brian Schimmel (Cumberland, RI) has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star Game. The game features graduating senior collegiate soccer players from Div. I, II and III New England area colleges and universities. The game will be held at Babson College on Sunday, April 25 at 4 p.m.

 

Schimmel closed his career having played in 68 career games, starting 53 of them. He had two goals and seven assists for 11 career points. As a senior in 2003, Schimmel was named Second Team All-Little East Conference. The captain played in 20 games, starting all of them. He had one goal and two assists for four points on the season. As a junior in 2002, he played in 19 games, starting all of them. He has three assists for three points on the season. As a sophomore in 2001, Schimmel played in 11 games, starting eight of them. He had one goal, a game-winner, and two assists for four points. As a freshman in 2000, he played in 18 games, starting six of them.

 

He is a marketing major and a 2000 graduate of Cumberland High School.
