Andrade, Pierpaoli and Smith to Captain
Rhode Island College Menís Tennis Team

 

Providence, RIóRhode Island College juniors Julio Andrade (Cranston, RI), Adam Pierpaoli (Smithfield, RI) and Tim Smith (Jamestown, RI) will captain the menís tennis team for the 2004 season.

 

Last season, Andrade was 7-7 (.500) in singles and 2-9 (.182) in doubles for 8.0 points on the season.

 

He is an elementary education major and a 1999 graduate of Cranston East High School.

 

Last spring, Pierpaoli was 2-13 (.133) in singles and 2-10 (.167) in doubles for 3.0 points on the season.

 

He is a secondary education major with a concentration in history and a 2001 graduate of Smithfield High School.

 

Smith was 2-4 (.333) in singles and 0-3 (.000) in doubles for 2.0 points last season.

 

He is a physical education/health major and a 2001 graduate of North Kingstown High School.

 

Head Coach Kelly Chartierís team will open the season at home versus Clark University on Saturday, March 27 at noon.
