Rhode Island College Menís Cross Country

Update #3

 

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jacksonís team placed first overall (four teams) with a score of 27 points at the Ray Dwyer Invitational, hosted by RIC, on Saturday, Sept. 25.

 

Sophomore Eric Lonergan (North Kingstown, RI) was the Anchormenís top runner at the Ray Dwyer Invitational, placing first with a time of 29:10. He was the Anchormenís top runner, placing 85th overall with a time of 27:35, at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational, on Sept. 18.

 

Junior Manny Karngar (Providence, RI) finished fourth at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of 29:51. He finished 180th at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 30:02 on Sept. 18.

 

Junior Tim Goodwin (Warwick, RI) finished fourth at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of 30:06. He finished 133rd at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 28:47 on Sept. 18. He was the Anchormenís top runner placing fourth with a time of 30:07 at the Rhode Island Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 9.

 

Freshman Greg Clark (Pawtucket, RI) finished 14th at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of 31:50. He finished 172nd at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 29:48 on Sept. 18. He placed 11th with a time of 32:18 at the Rhode Island Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 9.

 

Sophomore Andy Neil (Warwick, RI) finished 11th at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of 31:43. He finished 173rd at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 29:52 on Sept. 18.  He placed 16th at the Rhode Island Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 9 with a time of 33:24.

 

Freshman Mike Van Gieson (Foster, RI) finished 10th at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of 31:29. He finished 184th at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 30:08 on Sept. 18. He finished 12th at the Rhode Island Collegiate Invitational with a time of 32:37 on Sept. 9.

 

Freshman Mike Sarazin (Pawtucket, RI) placed 23rd at the Rhode Island Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 9 with a time of 35:21.

 

Freshman Sam Gaye (Providence, RI) placed 12th at the Ray Dwyer Invitational with a time of 31:48. He finished 208th at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 32:00 on Sept. 18.

 

In upcoming action, RIC will participate in the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 9.
