JACK PERRI EARNS FIRST COLLEGIATE WIN
IN ANCHORMEN VICTORY

            Providence, RIóRhode Island College Head Menís Basketball Coach Jack Perri earned his first victory as a collegiate head coach in the Anchormenís, 79-58, win over Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday evening. The Anchormen improve to 1-2 overall, while the loss drops the Crusaders to 0-3 on the season.

 

RIC was led by senior Andre Daley (Boston, MA) and Kamari Williams (Springfield, MA) who each pumped in a game-high 20 points. Daley added eight boards, four assists, three steals and a block. Williams had seven assists, two boards and a steal. RIC freshman Kofo Edmonds (Providence, RI) and sophomore John Weir (Danbury, CT) each had 11 points. Weir pulled down seven boards and rejected three shots in the win. Senior Jason Harris (Bedford, MA) had eight points and nine rebounds.

 

ENC Senior Larry Kearney (Raleigh, NC) posted a double-double, grabbing ten boards to go along with 11 points. Freshman center Luc Jasmin (Pawtucket, RI) also scored 11 points for the Crusaders

 

In upcoming action, RIC will host Fitchburg State on Monday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
