Providence, RIóRhode Island College stayed unbeaten with a 31-10 win over Williams College in collegiate wrestling action. The Anchormen improved their record to 6-0 overall and are 3-0 against New England College Conference Wrestling Association (NECCWA) opposition. Williams falls to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the NECCWA.

The two teams split the first two matches before RIC took the next six in a row. Senior Justin Deveau (North Attleboro, MA) earned a four-point decision, 16-3, over freshman John Greenwald (Washington, DC), senior B.J. Atkinson (Danbury, CT) pinned freshman Jim Bierman (McLean, VA) at 2:55 and sophomore Ray Hanley (Wantagh, NY) earned a win via forfeit and the Anchormen never looked back.

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Budd Whitehill Duals at Lycoming (PA) on Jan. 14-15.
