Rhode Island College Men’s Cross Country Update #3

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team has four invitationals under their belt this season.

 

• RIC competed at the Tri-State Invitational, hosted by the Community College of Rhode Island on Saturday, Oct. 1. The Anchormen scored 100 points, which was good for a fifth place finish out of ten teams. RIC was led by junior Eric Lonergan (North Kingstown, RI) who placed second overall with a time of 27:29. Senior Manny Karngar (Providence, RI) was sixth with a time of 28:15. Sophomore Greg Ahnrud (Chepachet, RI) was 25th with a time of 29:24. Senior Tim Goodwin (Warwick, RI) placed 30th with a time of 29:44. Sophomore Greg Clark (Pawtucket, RI) was 51st with a time of 31:57 to round out the RIC runners.
