FOUR-MATCH WIN STREAK COMES TO AN END
Corriveau Leads RIC With 10 Kills in, 3-0, Loss to Camels

New London, CTRhode Island College saw its four-match win streak come to an end in a 3-0 loss to Connecticut College on Wednesday evening. The Anchorwomen fall to 18-11, while the Camels improve to 16-8 on the season.

 

Rhode Island College freshman outside hitter Sharon Corriveau (Coventry, RI) led the squad with ten kills to go along with five digs. Senior middle hitter Erin Miga (Cranston, RI), junior right side hitter Sherri Heard (Coventry, RI) and junior outside hitter Madison Greene (Cranston, RI) each logged six kills apiece. The junior setter tandem of Jeanne Rosa (Milford, CT) and Amy Souza (Tiverton, RI) combined for 28 assists with 14 apiece. Senior libero Stephanie Wojciechowski (North Kingstown, RI) led the team with 20 digs.

 

In upcoming action, RIC will travel to Western Connecticut for the final Little East Conference tri-match of the regular season with the Colonials and UMass Boston.
