Anchormen Stay Unbeaten in Little East Action

Danbury, CT—Rhode Island College improved its record to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in the Little East Conference in a 5-4 victory at Western Connecticut on Tuesday afternoon. Head Coach  Joe Testa’s team has won four of their last five matches after starting the season with an 0-3 mark.

 

The bottom half of the singles lineup went 3-0 against the Colonials as junior Lorne Teeter (Warwick, RI), junior Rolando Yotharath (Woonsocket, RI) and sophomore David Haggerty (Woonsocket, RI) all picked up victories. Teeter teamed with senior Barry Manfredi (Westerly, RI) to win at number two doubles, while Yotharath paired with senior Tom Lapierre (Mapleville, RI) to earn a victory at number three doubles.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play at Becker on Thursday, April 12 at 4 p.m.
