RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE MENíS CROSS COUNTRY
PLACES THIRD AT ROGER WILLIAMS INVITATIONAL

 

 

Bristol, RI Ė The Rhode Island College menís cross country team competed at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6. The Anchormen placed third (10 teams) with a score of 92. The Hawks won the meet with a team score of 51.

 

Freshman Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) was RICís top runner, placing seventh with a time of 29:19. Junior Greg Ahnrud (Chepachet, RI) was 10 seconds off Macedoís pace, placing eighth overall with a time of 29:29. Freshman Cesar Smith (Bristol, RI) placed 11th overall with a time of 29:49. Freshman Chanthoeun Yin (Attleboro, MA) placed 38th with a time of 32:29, while junior Hunter Stewart (Foster, RI) placed 40th with a time of 32:37. Senior Greg Clark (Pawtucket, RI) placed 69th with a time of 37:38.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Eastern Connecticut Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 13.
