2007-08 Men’s Indoor Track & Field Season Summary

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team wrapped up the 2007-08 men’s indoor track and field season with two competitors seeing action at the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Div. III Championships on March 7-8 at Harvard University.

 

The Anchormen earned a 31st place tie (33 teams) with a team score of 2.0 at the 2008 New England Open Championships, hosted by Boston University on Feb. 29 – March 1.

 

Rhode Island College tied for 17th overall (25 teams) with 10.0 points at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by Tufts on Feb. 22-23.

 

The Anchormen placed ninth overall (10 teams) with 32.0 points and fifth (six teams) in the Little East Conference with 35.0 points at the 2008 Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by Southern Maine on Feb. 16.

 

Senior Greg Ahnrud (Chepachet, RI) ended his career at Rhode Island College, earning All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 1,000 meters, placing sixth with a season-best time of 2:38.97 at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 120th in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:01.27 at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. Ahnrud placed 14th in the mile with a time of 4:34.98 at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. He placed seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.88 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. Ahnrud placed fourth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:40.59 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. He placed 11th in the mile with a season-best time of 4:31.87 at the Yale Invitational on Jan. 12. Ahnrud placed 21st in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.61 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. He placed 16th in the mile with a time of 4:32.39 in the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1. Although he has an additional year of eligibility remaining, Ahnrud plans on graduating this spring.

 

As a junior in 2006-07, Ahnrud placed 17th as part of the 4x800 meter relay team with a time of 8:13.39 at the ECAC Championships on Mar. 3. He placed 14th as part of the 4x800 meter relay team with a school-record time of 7:56.51 at the New England Open Championships on Feb. 24. Ahnrud earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in two events. He placed sixth in the 1,000 meters with a season-best time of 2:42.31 and second as part of the 4x800 meter relay team with a time of 8:14.67 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 10. Ahnrud placed 18th in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:43.87 at the U.R.I. Mega Meet on Feb. 2. He placed fifth in the mile with a time of 4:41.36 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 27. Ahnrud placed seventh in the 600 meters with a season-best time of 1:30.56 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 20. He placed 26th in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:05.56 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 9. Ahnrud placed fifth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:45.14 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 2.

 

As a sophomore in 2005-06, Ahnrud earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 1,000 meters and the 4x800 meter relay at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 13. Ahnrud placed seventh in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:42.59 and fifth as part of the 4x800 meter relay squad, which placed fifth with a time of 8:41.54. He placed fifth in the 600 meters with a time of 1:30.36 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 28. Ahnrud placed 16th in the 500 meters with a time of 1:15.25 at the Tufts Invitational on Jan. 21. He placed fourth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:47.56 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 3.

 

He spent 2004-05 at Assumption College, but did not compete due to an injury. Ahnrud is a history and political science major and a 2004 graduate of Ponaganset High School.

 

Senior Greg Clark (Pawtucket, RI) wrapped up his indoor track career, placing 18th in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:11.74 at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 15th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:16.38 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. Clark placed 45th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.05 at the Yale Invitational on Jan. 12. He placed 52nd in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.13 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. Clark placed 47th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:18.13 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

As a junior in 2006-07, Clark placed 11th in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:52.24 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championship on Feb. 10.  He placed ninth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:37.46 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 27. Clark placed seventh in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:11.28 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 20. He placed 18th in the 1,000 meters with a season-best time of 2:51.33 at the Tufts Invitational on Jan. 13. Clark placed third in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 10:25.13 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 2. He placed 40th in the mile with a time of 5:01.10 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 9.

 

As a sophomore in 2005-06, Clark earned All-Alliance/Little East honors as part of the 4x800 meter relay squad, which placed fifth with a time of 8:41.54, at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 13. He also placed ninth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:46.76. Clark placed 15th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.54 at the Tufts Invitational on Feb. 4. He placed eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.65 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 28. Clark placed 16th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:09.36 at the Tufts Invitational on Jan. 21. He placed 11th in the 600 meters with a time of 1:31.96 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 14. Clark placed 34th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:08.60 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 10. He placed fifth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:50.81 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 3.

 

As a freshman in 2004-05, Clark earned All-Alliance/Little East honors as part of the 4x800 meter relay team, which placed fifth with a time of 8:53.76, and in the 1,500 meters, placing fifth with a time of 4:20.34 at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 12. He placed ninth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:47.03. He placed 13th in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:44.50 at the Tufts Invitational on Feb. 5. He placed 21st in the mile with a time of 4:47.27 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 29. Clark placed eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:09.28 and 13th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:03.37 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 15.  He placed 31st in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.65 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 11. He placed fourth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:43.04 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

 

He is a physical education/health major and a 2004 graduate of Tolman High School.

 

Senior Charles Kuti (Providence, RI) wrapped up his career, placing 25th in the long jump (5.48), 26th in the 55 meters with a season-best effort (7.01) and 23rd in the 200 meters (25.13) at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 22nd in the 200 meters with a season-best effort (24.85), 15th in the 55 meters (7.07) and 16th in the long jump (5.30) at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. Kuti placed 18th in the 55 meter (7.04) and 15th in the long jump with a season-best effort (5.82) at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed eighth in the 55 meters with a time of 7.18 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19.

 

As a junior in 2002-03, Kuti earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the long jump, placing sixth with a leap of 19’00.50”. He placed 15th in the preliminary round of the 55 meters with a time of 7.09. He placed 16th in the 200 meters with a time of 25.30. He finished third in the 55 meters with a time of 6.92 at the Southern Maine Invitational. He placed eighth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.14 and fourth in the long jump with a leap of 19’03.25” at the same meet.

 

He is a political science major and a 1999 graduate of Feinstein High School.

 

Senior John Martinelli (North Providence, RI) wrapped up his indoor track career this winter, placing 25th in the 60 meters with a time of 7.44 and 10th in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 23.51 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. He placed 24th in the 200 meters with a time of 23.77 and 32nd in the 400 meters with a time of 53.32 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

As a junior in 2006-07, Martinelli earned All-Alliance/Little East honors as part of the 4x400 meter relay team, which placed seventh with a time of 3:49.66, at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 10. He also placed 17th in the 400 meters with a season-best time of 54.67 at the same meet.

 

As a sophomore in 2004-05, Martinelli placed 12th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.83 and eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 55.72 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 15. He placed 41st in the 400 meters with a time of 55.14 and 55th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.68 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 11. Martinelli placed ninth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 55.24 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

 

As a freshman in 2003-04, he earned All-New England honors in one event at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 21. Martinelli placed eighth as part of the 4x400 meter relay team with a school-record time of 3:28.14. He earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in two events at the LEC/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 14. He placed eighth in the 400 meters with a season-best time of 54.26 and first as part of the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:32.97. He also placed 21st in the 55 meters with a season-best time of 7.12 and 18th in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 24.64. He placed 18th in the 400 meters with a time of 54.32 at the Tufts Invitational on Feb. 7. He finished 21st in the 400 meters with a time of 55.51 at the Tufts Invitational on Jan. 24. He placed 12th in the 200 meters with a time of 25.28 and 12th in the 400 meters with a time of 56.08 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 17. He finished 33rd in the prelims of the 55 meters with a time of 7.17 at the Yale Classic on Jan. 10. He placed 16th in the 60 meters with a time of 7.60, after posting a school-record time of 7.25 in the preliminaries, and 16th in the 400 meters with a time of 54.59 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 13.

 

He is a secondary education major with a concentration in general science and a 2003 graduate of La Salle Academy.

 

Senior James Polak (Smithfield, RI) has an additional year of indoor eligibility and plans to return next winter. Polak placed 14th in the weight throw with a distance of 11.86 meters at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 61st in the weight throw with a toss of 11.37 meters at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. Polak placed ninth in the weight throw with a season-best throw of 12.34 meters at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. He placed 10th in the weight throw with a distance of 11.87 meters at the Wesleyan Invitational on Feb. 26. Polak placed sixth in the weight throw with a toss of 11.93 meters at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. He placed 20th in the weight throw with a distance of 11.69 meters at the Yale Invitational on Jan. 12.

 

Senior Mike Van Gieson (Foster, RI) wrapped up his indoor career at Rhode Island College with a 10th place finish in the 500 meters with a time of 1:07.00 at the ECAC Div. III Championships on Mar. 8. He placed seventh in the 500 meters with a season-best time of 1:05.57 at the N.E. Open Championships on Mar. 1. Van Gieson placed ninth in the 600 meters with a season-best time of 1:23.68 at N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 23. He earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 600 meters, placing third with a time of 1:23.99 at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. Van Gieson placed 32nd in the 500 meters with a time of 1:06.76 at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. He placed third in the 500 meters with a time of 1:07.56 in the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. Van Gieson placed sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 52.97 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:02.40 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. Van Gieson placed 10th in the 400 meters with a season-best time of 52.09 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. He placed fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:59.88 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

As a junior in 2006-07, Van Gieson placed 14th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.42 at the ECAC Championships on Mar. 3. He placed 17th as part of the 4x800 meter relay team with a time of 8:13.39. He placed 14th as part of the 4x800 meter relay team with a school-record time of 7:56.51 at the New England Open Championships on Feb. 24. Van Gieson earned All-New England honors in the 600 meters, placing eighth with a season-best time of 1:25.58 at the New England Div. III Championships on Feb. 17. He earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in two events. He placed first in the 600 meters and second as part of the 4x800 meter relay team with a time of 8:14.67 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 10. Van Gieson placed fourth in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 1:57.64 at the U.R.I. Mega Meet on Feb. 2. He placed first in the 800 meters with a time of 2:03.78 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 27. Van Gieson placed eighth in the 600 meters with a time of 1:30.58 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 20. He placed 14th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.49 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 9.

 

As a sophomore in 2005-06, Van Gieson earned All-New England honors in the 600 meters with a time of 1:23.89 at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 18. Van Gieson earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 600 meters and the 4x400 meter relay at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 13. He placed first in the 600 meters with a time of 1:23.96 and eighth as part of the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:37.49. He placed sixth in the 200 meters and fourth in the 400 meters with times of 24.86 and 53.15, respectively, at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 28. Van Gieson placed sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 53.79 at the Tufts Invitational on Jan. 21. He placed tenth in the 200 meters and second in the 400 meters with times of 24.84 and 53.18, respectively, at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 14. Van Gieson placed 20th in the 500 meters with a time of 1:13.33 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 10. He placed tenth in the 400 meters with a time of 54.69 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 3.

 

As a freshman in 2004-05, Van Gieson earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 600 meters, placing fourth with a time of 1:26.09 at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 12. Van Gieson earned All-Alliance/Little East honors as part of the 4x400 meter relay team, which placed fifth with a time of 3:33.96. He placed fourth in the 600 meters with a time of 1:26.06 at the Tufts Invitational on Feb. 5. He placed sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 54.05 at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 29. He placed 13th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.39 at the Tufts Invitational on Jan. 22. He placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:06.29 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 15.  He placed 30th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.42 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 11. Van Gieson placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:04.22 at the Alden Invitational on Dec. 4.

 

He is a sociology/philosophy major and a 2004 graduate of Ponaganset High School.

 

Junior Dante Lopardo (Johnston, RI) was named the team’s MVP. He earned All-New England honors in the high and long jumps, placing sixth and eighth with efforts of 1.87 and 6.42 meters, respectively, at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 23. He earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the high and long jumps, placing sixth and third with efforts of 1.80 and a school-record 6.55 meters, respectively, at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. Lopardo placed 16th in the high jump with a season-best leap of 1.88 meters at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. He placed sixth in the high jump (1.84 meters), 14th in the long jump (5.42 meters) and third in the triple jump (12.54 meters) at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. Lopardo placed sixth in the high jump (1.81 meters), 12th in the long jump (5.87 meters) and sixth in the triple jump (12.44 meters) at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed fourth in the high jump (1.86 meters), second in the long jump (6.02 meters) and placed sixth in the triple jump (11.75 meters) at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. Lopardo placed eighth in the high jump with a leap of 1.85 meters and 12th in the triple jump with a season-best leap of 12.67 meters at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. He placed eighth in the high jump with a 1.82-meter effort and 22nd in the triple jump with a leap of 11.30 meters at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Junior Hunter Stewart (Foster, RI) placed ninth in the 500 meters with a time of 1:06.99 at the ECAC Div. III Championships on Mar. 8. He placed 18th in the 500 meters with a season-best time of 1:06.64 at the N.E. Open Championships on Mar. 1. Stewart placed 21st in the 600 meters with a time of 1:26.85 at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 23. He earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 600 meters, placing fifth a season-best time of 1:25.79 at the Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. Stewart placed 35th in the 500 meters with a time of 1:07.09 at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. He placed eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:02.12 at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. Stewart placed first in the 500 meters with a time of 1:09.61 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed second in the 600 meters with a time of 1:26.77 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. Stewart placed 17th in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:01.78 at the Yale Invitational on Jan. 12. He placed 39th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:06.80 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. Stewart placed 30th in the 500 meters with a time of 1:09.50 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Junior David Simpson (West Warwick, RI) placed 34th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.50 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8.  He placed 24th in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:05.29 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Sophomore Kwame Gyampo (Providence, RI) placed 21st in the 55 meters with a season-best time of 6.97 and 24th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.32 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 81st in the 55 meters with a time of 6.98 and 124th in 200 meters with a time of 23.46 at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. Gyampo placed 23rd in the 200 meters with a time of 24.89 at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. He placed eighth in the 55 meters with a time of 7.11 and seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 24.25 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. Gyampo placed 31st in the 60 meters with a season-best time of 7.48 at the Yale Invitational on Jan. 12. He placed 28th in the 60 meters with a time of 7.45 and 22nd in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 23.96 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. Gyampo placed 56th in the 55 meters with a time of 7.09 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Sophomore Kevin Leber (Newport, RI) placed 10th in the long jump with a season-best leap of 5.95 meters at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. Leber placed 30th in the 55 meters with a time of 7.30 and 13th in the long jump with a season-best leap of 5.85 meters at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed 11th in the 400 meters (56.58), 13th in the long jump (5.53) and eleventh in the triple jump with a season-best effort (10.78) at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. Leber placed 54th in the 200 meters with a time of 25.06 and 37th in the long jump with a leap of 4.52 meters at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8.

 

Sophomore Max Willett (Portsmouth, RI) earned All-New England honors in the high jump, placing third with a season-best 1.92-meter effort at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 23. He also placed 17th in the long jump with a 5.96-meter effort at the same meet. He earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the high and long jump events, placing third and fifth with leaps of 1.85 and 6.28 meters, respectively, at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. Willett placed 131st in the 200 meters (23.57), 16th in the high jump (1.88), and 39th in the long jump (5.99) at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. He placed fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.89 meters and sixth in the long jump with a 6.25-meter effort at the URI Mega Meet Invitational on Feb. 1. Willett placed ninth in the 200 meters (24.36), fifth in the high jump (1.86) and eighth in the long jump (6.15) at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed fifth in the high jump (1.86), eighth in the long jump (5.71) and seventh in the triple jump with a season-best effort (11.64) at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. Willett placed 25th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.05 and sixth in the long jump with a season-best leap of 6.29 meters at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. He placed fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.87 meters and 32nd in the long jump with a 5.59-meter effort at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Freshman Adilson Alves (Central Falls, RI) placed 32nd in the 200 meters with a time of 24.94 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 24th in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 24.90 at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. Alves placed 17th in the 55 meters with a season-best time of 7.03 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26.

 

Freshman Alex Burakoff (Stoughton, MA) earned All-Little East honors in the shot, placing third (11th in the Alliance) amongst league competitors with a distance of 12.12 meters at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 50th in the shot with a distance of 12.07 meters at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. Burakoff placed 11th  in the shot with a season-best toss of 12.70 meters at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. He placed 12th in the shot with a throw of 11.75 meters at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26.  Burakoff placed second in the shot with a toss of 12.32 meters at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. He placed 11th in the shot with a distance of 12.07 meters on at the Harvard Invitational Dec. 8. Burakoff placed 20th in the shot with a distance of 11.93 meters at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Freshman Adam Johnson (Warwick, RI) placed 19th in the weight throw with a season-best toss of 8.43 meters at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. He placed 12th in the weight throw with a distance of 8.03 meters at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. Johnson placed 29th in the weight throw with a toss of 6.70 meters at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8.

 

Freshman Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 21st in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:30.84 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships on Feb. 16. He placed 143rd in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 9:27.90 at the B.U. Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9. Macedo placed 18th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:34.13 at the URI Mega Meet on Feb. 1. He placed 12th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:02.82 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 26. Macedo placed second in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:42.19 at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 19. He placed 20th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:35.05 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. Macedo placed 27th in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 16:25.89 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Freshman Cesar Smith (Bristol, RI) placed 50th in the mile with a time of 4:53.44 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8. He placed 32nd in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:32.34 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.

 

Freshman Tony Yin (Attleboro, MA) placed 48th in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:09.02 at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 8.  He placed 35th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:12.60 at the Husky Winter Carnival on Dec. 1.
