SOFTBALL ALUMNI GAME HIGHLIGHTS FIRST NIGHT GAME IN PROGRAM HISTORY

 

 

 

Providence, RIThe first-ever night game was played at the Dayna A. Bazar Softball Complex at Rhode Island College during the Softball Alumni Game as part of Homecoming 2008.

 

 

 

 

 Rhode Island College Director of OASIS Delores Passarelli and
Athletic Hall of Famer Jennifer Cook Spadoni '00 throw
the ceremonial switch to officially light the field.

 

Athletic Hall of Famer and Softball Alumna Jo-Ann Avedisian '80 joins
Passarelli and Cook Spadoni while the lights come on.

Prior to the start of the game, the Rhode Island College Athletic Department recognized members of the 2008 Little East Conference Champion Softball Team.

Sophomore second baseman Amanda Perry accepts the 2008 Little East Conference Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Conference plaques.
