MENíS CROSS COUNTRY PLACES EIGHTH AT
TRI-STATE INVITATIONAL

 

 

 

Lincoln, RIóThe Rhode Island College menís cross country team placed eighth (12 teams) at the annual Tri-State Invitational, hosted by the Community College of Rhode Island, on Saturday afternoon. The Anchormen totaled a score of 179. SUNY Delhi won the meet with a score of 46.

 

 

 

Sophomore Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) was RICís top runner, placing 14th with a time of 29:07.61. Freshman Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) placed 25th with a time of 29:45.40. Freshman Andy Danesi (Johnston, RI) placed 49th with a time of 30:45.48. Freshman Ethan Leary (Newport, RI) placed 57th with a time of 31:05.05. Senior Hunter Stewart (Johnston, RI) placed 66th with a time of 31:54.42. Junior Chris Farrell (Cumberland, RI) placed 99th with a time of 34:56.31. Freshman Pat Brassil (Wakefield, RI) placed 111th with a time of 36:30.81.
