JENSEN TIES FOR 11th OVERALL AS MENíS GOLF PLACES FOURTH AT BISON FALL INVITATIONAL

 

 

 

Dudley, MAóRhode Island College sophomore Derek Jensen (Cumberland, RI) tied for 11th overall as the menís golf team placed fourth at the Bison Fall Invitational, hosted by Nichols College on Wednesday afternoon.

The Anchormen logged a team score of 342, which were 32 strokes behind first place Nichols in a nine-team field.

 

 

Jensen shot an 82, which were seven strokes behind the top finisher. Sophomore Chad Lareau (North Attleboro, MA) tied for 16th at 84. Senior Lionel Noel (West Warwick, RI) tied for 18th overall with a score of 85. Freshman Mark Savastano (Swansea, MA) tied for 31st with a score of 91, while sophomore Bryan Picinisco (Dartmouth, MA) rounded out the RIC contingent, tying for 34th with a 93.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Mitchell on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
