MENíS CROSS COUNTRY PLACES FIFTH AT
ROGER WILLIAMS INVITATIONAL

 

Bristol, RIóThe Rhode Island College menís cross country team placed fifth (11 teams) at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Anchormen totaled a score of 132. The Hawks won the meet with a score of 35.

 

 

 

 

 

 Freshman Kyle Mann

 

 

 

Freshman Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) was RICís top runner, placing 12th with a time of 29:11.70. Sophomore Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 24th with a time of 30:03.64. Freshman Andy Danesi (Johnston, RI) placed 27th with a time of 30:20.83. Freshman Ethan Leary (Newport, RI) placed 31st with a time of 30:33.97. Freshman Andrew Augustus (Bristol, RI) placed 49th with a time of 32:30.77. Junior Chris Farrell (Cumberland, RI) placed 56th with a time of 33:15.59. Senior Hunter Stewart (Johnston, RI) placed 60th with a time of 33:28.22. Freshman Pat Brassil (Wakefield, RI) placed 70th with a time of 34:21.40.

 

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 18.
