WOMENíS CROSS COUNTRY PLACES SIXTH
AT ROGER WILLIAMS INVITATIONAL

 

Bristol, RIóThe Rhode Island College womenís cross country team placed sixth (14 teams) at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Anchorwomen posted a score of 141, while the Hawks won the meet with a score of 43.

Freshman Jacqueline Towle (Swanzey, NH) was RICís top runner, placing eighth with a time of 20:39.72. Freshman Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 17th with a time of 21:33.94. Sophomore Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI) placed 41st with a time of 22:48.10. Sophomore Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed 46th with a time of 23:08.07. Sophomore Nicole Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 47th with a time of 23:15.63. Freshman Justyna Barlow (Foster, RI) placed 66th with a time of 24:39.11. Senior captain Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 70th with a time of 24:44.75.

 

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 18.
