MANN LEADS MENíS CROSS COUNTRY
AS RIC PLACES 10th AT ALLIANCE MEET

 

Westfield, MAóThe Rhode Island College menís cross country team placed 10th (12 teams) with a score of 276 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by Westfield State College at Stanley Park on Saturday afternoon.

 

 

 

The Anchormen placed fifth (six) teams in the Little East with a score of 150. Keene State won both the Alliance and LEC titles.

Freshman Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) was RICís top runner, placing 43rd with a time of 27:53.48. Freshman Andy Danesi (Johnston, RI) placed 60th with a time of 28:32.22. Freshman Ethan Leary (Newport, RI) placed 71st with a time of 28:54.51. Senior Hunter Stewart (Johnston, RI) placed 105th with a time of 30:34.53. Junior Chris Farrell (Cumberland, RI) placed 122nd with a time of 31:33.02. Freshman Andrew Augustus (Bristol, RI) placed 132nd with a time of 32:23.87. Freshman Pat Brassil (Wakefield, RI) placed 142nd with a time of 33:42.26. Freshman Chris Usler (Warwick, RI) placed 149th with a time of 35:44.30.

 

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Div. III Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8.
