TOWLE LEADS WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
AS RIC PLACES SIXTH AT ALLIANCE MEET

 

Westfield, MA— The Rhode Island College women’s cross country team placed sixth (12 teams) with a score of 157 at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by Westfield State College at Stanley Park on Saturday afternoon.

 

 

 

The Anchorwomen placed fourth (six) teams in the Little East with a score of 92. Keene State won both the Alliance and LEC titles.

Freshman Jacqueline Towle (Swanzey, NH) earned All-Alliance honors, placing 19th with a time of 20:29.39. Sophomore Katie Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) placed 30th with a time of 21:17.84. Junior Ashley Guimond (Sterling, CT) placed 37th with a time of 21:32.26. Sophomore Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed 42nd with a time of 21:47.56. Sophomore Nicole Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 53rd with a time of 22:16.49. Freshman Justyna Barlow (Foster, RI) placed 63rd with a time of 22:41.61. Senior captain Hannah Clark (Attleboro, MA) placed 89th with a time of 24:12.95

 

 

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Div. III Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8.
