DANESI LEADS MENíS CROSS COUNTRY
AS RIC PLACES 25th AT ECAC MEET

 

Bristol, RIóThe Rhode Island College menís cross country team placed 25th (48 teams) with a score of 748 at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Div. IIII Championships, held at Colt State Park on Saturday afternoon. Williams won the meet with a score of 64.

 

 

 

Freshman Andy Danesi (Johnston, RI) was RICís top runner, placing 71st with a time of 28:26.

Freshman Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) placed 84th with a time of 28:36. Freshman Ethan Leary (Newport, RI) placed 133rd with a time of 29:27. Senior Hunter Stewart (Johnston, RI) placed 198th with a time of 30:43. Junior Chris Farrell (Cumberland, RI) placed 282nd with a time of 33:36. Freshman Pat Brassil (Wakefield, RI) placed 312th with a time of 37:39.

 

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the N.E. Div. III Championships, hosted by Williams on Saturday, Nov. 15.
