GUIMOND LEADS WOMENíS CROSS COUNTRY
AS RIC PLACES 27th AT ECAC MEET

 

Bristol, RIóThe Rhode Island College womenís cross country team placed 27th (42 teams) with a score of 698 at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Div. IIII Championships, held at Colt State Park on Saturday afternoon. Williams won the meet with a score of 23.

 

 

 

Junior Ashley Guimond (Sterling, CT) was RICís top runner, placing 123rd with a time of 26:59.

Sophomore Katie Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) placed 145th with a time of 27:26. Freshman Jacqueline Towle (Swanzey, NH) placed 146th with a time of 27:28. Sophomore Heather Feeney (Warwick, RI) placed 154th with a time of 27:35. Sophomore Nicole Poirier (Concord, NH) placed 170th with a time of 27:52. Sophomore Lindsey Brisson (Coventry, RI) placed 186th with a time of 28:05. Freshman Justyna Barlow (Foster, RI) placed 209th with a time of 28:45.

 

 

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the N.E. Div. III Championships, hosted by Williams on Saturday, Nov. 15.
