JENSEN TIES FOR SEVENTH AS MEN'S GOLF
PLACES FOURTH AT JWU SPRING INVITATIONAL

Cranston, RI-Rhode Island College sophomore Derek Jensen (Cumberland, RI) tied for seventh overall with a two-day total score of 155 (80, 75) at the Johnson & Wales Spring Men's Golf Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19. The Anchormen placed fourth with a score of 644 (335, 209). NYU won the meet with a two-day total of 606.

 

 

Sophomore Derek Jensen

 

Sophomore Bryan Picinisco (Dartmouth, MA) tied for 11th overall at 158 (81, 77). Sophomore Chad Lareau (North Attleboro, MA) tied for 20th overall at 162 (89, 73). Freshman Mark Savastano (Swansea, MA) tied for 41st overall at 173 (85, 88). Sophomore Steve Zahn (West Warwick, RI) tied for 54th at 180 (96, 84).

 

In upcoming action, the Anchormen will compete at the Worcester State Invitational on Tuesday, April 21.
