KAYLA FLEMING EARNS ALL-ECAC HONORS
IN THE HIGH JUMP
Readies for NCAA Championships Next Week

Springfield, MAŚSenior Kayla Fleming (Pawtucket, RI) earned All-ECAC honors in the high jump, tying for fourth place (1.67m) at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Springfield on Thursday and Friday, May 14-15.

The Anchorwomen tied for 43rd place (56 teams) with 4.0 points . Moravian won the meet with a score of 67.

 

Freshman Kim Mangum (Warwick, RI) placed 13th in the triple jump (10.92).

 

Sophomore Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield, RI) tied for 16th in the 100m hurdles (16.74).

 

Senior Mary Ellen Horsman (Barrington, RI) placed 17th in the hammer (43.61m).

 

In upcoming action, Fleming will compete in the high jump at the NCAA Div. III Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, hosted by Marietta (OH) on Thursday and Friday, May 21-22. She earned All-American honors in that event at the 2009 Indoor National Championships.
