MENíS TRACK COMPETES
AT URI INVITATIONAL

Kingston, RI-The Rhode Island College menís indoor track and field team took part in the URI Invitational on Friday, Jan. 30. It was an individual meet with no team scoring. In addition to the Rams, Providence College, Bryant, Quinnipiac and CCRI also competed. The Anchorwomen were the lone Div. III representative.

 

 

 Senior Hunter Stewart

 

Senior Hunter Stewart (Foster, RI) placed third in the 500 meters (1:08.01).

 

Freshman Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) placed ninth in the 1,000 meters (2:46.21).

 

Senior James Polak (Smithfield, RI) placed ninth in the weight throw (11.28m).

 

Junior Kyle Duguay (Cumberland, RI) placed 10th in the preliminaries of the 55 meters (6.84).

 

In upcoming action, the Anchormen will compete at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 7.
