LESIEUR & PITKIN LEAD WOMEN'S
GYMNASTICS TO SECOND HIGHEST
TEAM SCORE OF THE SEASON

Bridgeport, CT-Freshman
Casey Lesieur (Coventry, RI) and sophomore Julie Pitkin
(Lee, NH) helped the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics
team to post their second highest score of the season in a
190.825-174.100 loss to Div. II Bridgeport on Sunday afternoon. |

The
Anchorwomen posted team scores of 45.325 on vault, 39.700 on bars,
44.100 on beam and 44.975 on floor as their record dips to 1-9 on
the season. |

Freshman Casey Lesieur |

|
|
Lesieur was
third overall in the all-around (36.075), seventh on bars (8.450)
and sixth on floor (9.475) to lead the Anchorwomen. She was second
on the team on vault (9.075) and beam (9.075) |

Sophomore
Julie Pitkin |
|
|
|
Pitkin led
RIC and was sixth on vault (9.225) and fifth on beam (9.275). She
was second on the team with a fourth place finish in the all-around
(34.850) and also recorded a 9.200 mark on floor. |

In upcoming
action, Rhode Island College will close out the regular season next
Sunday, Mar. 1 at Wilson. |
