FLEMING, MANGUM & DIBLASI
COMPETE AT N.E. COLLEGE
TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Boston, MA-Rhode Island College senior Kayla Fleming (Pawtucket, RI), sophomore Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield, RI) and freshman Kim Mangum (Providence, RI) competed at the New England College Track and Field Championships, hosted by Boston University on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28.

 

The Anchorwomen did not score as a team. The University of Connecticut won the meet with a score of 186.50.

 

 

 Senior Kayla Fleming

 

Fleming tied for 11th in the high jump with a 1.60-meter effort.

 

 

 Freshman Kim Mangum

 

Mangum placed 16th in the triple jump (10.64m) and 21st in the long jump (4.70m).

 

 

 Sophomore Kayla DiBlasi

 

DiBlasi placed 27th in the preliminaries of the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.35.

 

In upcoming action, the Anchorwomen will compete at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Div. III Championships, hosted by Tufts on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 6-7.
