RIC DROPS TO .500 IN, 3-0, LOSS
AT EMMANUEL

Boston, MAThe Rhode Island College women's volleyball team saw their record drop to 9-9 overall in a 3-0 loss at Emmanuel on Tuesday evening. The Saints raise their record to 9-4 in the shutout victory. The hosted won the first set by four, 25-21, before posting, 25-14 and 25-11, victories over the final two frames.

 

Freshman outside hitter Breanna Boyer (West Greenwich, RI) and junior opposite April Oberhelman (Woonsocket, RI) led RIC with five and four kills, respectively.

 

Freshman setter Jessica Ho (Providence, RI) registered seven assists, senior outside hitter Sharon Corriveau (Coventry, RI) made eight digs and freshman middle blocker Kalyn Archer (Warwick, RI) had four blocks. 

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Salem State on Thursday, Oct. 1.
