MACEDO BROTHERS LEAD MENíS CROSS COUNTRY TO THIRD PLACE FINISH

Wenham, MAóFreshman Matt Macedo (North Scituate, RI) and his brother, junior Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI), were RICís top runners at the POP Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon, in collegiate menís cross country action. The Anchormen placed third (24 teams) with a score of 72. Gordon won the meet with a score of 62.0

 

 

 Freshman Matt Macedo

 

The Macedos placed 10th and 11th, respectively, with times of 27:38 and 27:47, among a field of 221 runners.

 

 

 Junior Mike Macedo

 

Sophomore Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) placed 13th with a time of 27:58. Freshman Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 14th with a time of 27:59.

 

Freshman Dionis Camacho (Providence, RI) placed 24th with a time of 28:14. Freshman Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) placed 34th with a time of 28:47. Freshman Austin Pena (West Warwick, RI) placed 44th with a time of 29:14. Freshman Conor Breagy (Exeter, RI) placed 124th with a time of 32:46.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Westfield State Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 10.
