CAMACHO LEADS RIC MENíS CROSS COUNTRY TO 24TH PLACE FINISH
AT NCAA N.E. CHAMPIONSHIPS

Cumberland, ME-Freshman Dionis Camacho (Providence, RI) placed 105th (323 runners) to lead the Rhode Island College menís cross country team to a 24th place (48 teams) finish at the NCAA N.E. Div. III Championships, hosted by Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon at the Twin Brooks Recreational Center. The Anchormen totaled a team score of 637. Williams, which won the ECAC Championship a week ago, won the title with a score of 53.0.

 

 

Freshman Dionis Camacho

 

Camacho was the Anchormen's top runner with a time of 27:26.4. Junior captain Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 122nd with a time of 27:38.0.

 

  Freshman Matt Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 132nd with a time of 27:55.4. Freshman Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 137th with a time of 28:01.3.

 

  Freshman Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) placed 141st with a time of 28:03.6. Sophomore Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) placed 156th with a time of 28:19.0. Freshman Kevin Carey (Wakefield, RI) placed 164th with a time of 28:25.1.
