NíTOW GARNERS
ALL-NEW ENGLAND HONORS

Medford, Mass.-The Rhode Island College menís track & field team tied for 21st (25 teams) overall at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by Tufts. The Anchormen totaled 6.0 points, while Williams won the title with a score of 159.0.

 

 

 Sophomore George N'Tow

 

Freshman George NíTow (Providence, RI) earned All-New England honors in the 400m, placing third (49.17).

 

Junior Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 11th in the 10,000m (33:15.86).

 

In upcoming action, select members of the team will compete at the N.E. Open Championships, hosted by Northeastern on Friday and Saturday, May 7-8.
