DiBLASI BREAKS 60M HURDLES
RECORD AS ANCHORWOMEN COMPETE AT YALE CLASSIC
|

|
New Haven, CT—Junior Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield, RI) broke
her own school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.17 as the
Rhode Island College women's indoor track & field team competed at
the Yale University Intercollegiate Classic on Saturday afternoon.
It was an individual meet with many Div. I institutions taking part. |

DiBlasi placed 13th in the
preliminary round of the 60m hurdles. |

|

Sophomore Molly Gouveia
(Warwick, RI) placed 10th in the weight throw (11.17m) and 11th
in the shot (9.15m). |

|
|
Senior Brooke Iby
(Dracut, MA) placed sixth in the triple jump (10.10m) and 21st
in the 400m (1:02.98). |

|
|
Senior Stephanie Bucci (Smithfield, RI)
placed 11th in the weight throw (10.93m). |
|
|
|
In upcoming action, Rhode
Island College will take part in the Coast Guard Invitational on
Saturday, Jan. 16. |
