Lee made 8-of-10 from the field, grabbed three rebounds and made three steals for the visitors (11-5). Junior guard Nick Manson (Newport, RI) scored a career-high 18 points, draining four three-pointers in the win. Senior guard Jake Grimes (Providence, RI) pitched in with 15.

"Our pressure was able to force enough turnovers to create some easy baskets, and we shared the ball as well as we have all year," RIC Head Coach Bob Walsh said. "It was good to take care of business on the road with such a huge game on Saturday."

The Anchormen jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on a Grimes layup on RICís second possession of the night. The visitors held on to a solid lead early in the opening period and stretched the margin to seven points at 17-10 on a steal and a layup by Lee with 8:30 on the clock.

Manson hit consecutive baseline three-pointers to give the Anchormen a 23-12 with 6:50 to play in the half.  Two possessions later sophomore guard Keith Hamilton (Queens Village, NY) drained a trey of his own to give RIC a 26-13 advantage.

The visitors maintained the double-figure lead until the break and took a 35-22 lead into the locker room at halftime.  Mansonís 11 first-half points led all scorers at the break.  The Anchormen scored 14 points off of their fast-break in the opening period and held a 19-18 lead on the boards.

The Saints quickly began to chip away at the Rhode Island College lead.  Emmanuel began the half with an 8-1 run, which included a fast-break jumper from freshman forward Patrick Ramsey (Easthampton, MA) and a pair of free throws from classmate Xavier Everson (Rochester, NY).  Emmanuelís run cut the RIC lead to 36-30 with 17:18 remaining.

The Saints then cut the margin to three points, 39-36, on a nice feed down low from Eric Spanbauer (Niagara Falls, NY) to Andre Fuller (Troy, NY) with 12:35 to go.  The pretty play was followed by a fast-break dunk from Lee to push the Anchormenís lead by to five, 41-36.

RIC stretched its lead back to 10 points on Mansonís fourth trey of the night, as the Anchormen went up 50-40, with 8:59 remaining.  Emmanuelís Isaiah Duke (Albany, NY) then followed up a made free throw with a steal and a dunk on the break to cut the RIC lead to seven, 50-43, with 8:35 to go. After two freebies by Everson, Michael Mailhot (Norwich, CT) drained a baseline three-ball to cut the RIC lead to just two points at 50-48 with 7:47 left to play.  Mailhotís three was part of a 8-0 Emmanuel run that lasted just over one minute.

The Anchormen then went on an 18-2 run that spanned five and a half minutes and essentially put the game away.  During the stretch, RIC went 8-for-8 from the line and got two consecutive fast-break layups from Lee. The Anchormen capped off the win with two final buckets by Lee in the closing minute of play, as the visitors pulled away with a 76-60 win.

Duke finished with a team-high 17 points and eight rebounds for the Saints.  Fuller netter 13 points, to go along with his 5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.  Everson chipped in with 12 points, 7 boards and 5 assists for Emmanuel.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will resume Little East Conference action when it hosts Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, Jan. 23.
