ANCHORMEN PLACE EIGHTH AT
WHEATON INVITATIONAL

 

Norton, MAóThe Rhode Island College menís indoor track and field team placed eighth (10 teams) with a score of 13.0 at the Wheaton Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Williams won the meet with a score of 123.5.

 

 

 

Freshman Sean Ceccofiglio (Woonsocket, RI) placed sixth in the 200m (24.17), 12th in preliminaries of the 55m hurdles (8.69) and 25th in the 5,000m (19:14.18).

Senior Kyle Duguay (Cumberland, RI) placed ninth in the 200m (24.28) and 10th in the preliminaries of the 55m (6.87). Freshman George NíTow (Providence, RI) placed ninth in the 400 (52.33).

 

 

 

Junior Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 10th in the 5,000m (16:05.96).

 

 

 

Freshman Michael Cole (Newport, RI) finished eighth in the 200m (24.27) and 21st in the preliminaries of the 55m (7.09).

 

 

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Boston University on Saturday, Jan. 30.
