MENíS SOCCER PICKED THIRD IN
LITTLE EAST PRESEASON POLL

Providence, RIóThe Rhode Island College menís soccer team has been picked to finish third in the annual Little East Conference preseason coachesí poll. The Anchormen totaled 52 points in a vote by the leagueís eight head coaches, finishing just two points shy of first place Eastern Connecticut and Keene State which were tied for the top spot.

Head Coach John Melloís team returns 11 players from last seasonís 9-8-2 squad, including senior back Corey Carvalho (Dartmouth, MA) who was the 2009 Little East Defensive Player of the Year. Also back is junior striker Bruno Costa (Pawtucket, RI), a First Team All-Little East Conference selection a year ago with a team-high 15 goals and 32 points.
