MACEDO LEADS RIC AT COD FISH BOWL

Boston, MA-Senior Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 30th (287 competitors) with a time of 27:18 to lead the Rhode Island College menís cross country team to a 17th place (25 teams) at the 43rd Cod Fish Bowl held at Franklin Park.

The Anchormen totaled a score of 454. Bentley won the meet with a score of 72.

 

Sophomore Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 101st with a time of 29:15. Freshman Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 122nd with a time of 29:44

 

Sophomore Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) placed 182nd with a time of 31:42. Freshman Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) placed 203rd with a time of 32:17

 

 Freshman Ian McCord (Bristol, RI) placed 229th with a time of 33:22, while sophomore Austin Pena (Warwick, RI) placed 236th with a time of 33:46.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon on Saturday, Oct. 2.
