RIC SPLITS AT DAY TWO ACTION OF
JWU MATCH PLAY TOURNAMENT

Providence, R.I.Rhode Island College bounced back from a 3-2 loss to UMass Dartmouth with a 3-2 win vs. Providence College to wrap up competition at day two of the Johnson & Wales Match Play Tournament played at Cranston Country Club.

 

RIC fell, 3-2, to the hosts yesterday and hit the links bright and early this morning against UMD. Sophomore Kyle Harper (Rehoboth, MA) and freshman Corey Hayes (Newport, RI) won for the Anchormen.

Harper, senior Derek Jensen (Cumberland, RI) and senior Bryan Picinisco (Dartmouth, MA) won from the No. 2-4 spots in the win over the Friars.
