MACEDO POSTS ANOTHER TOP-15 FINISH AS RIC PLACES SIXTH AT JAMES EARLY INVITATIONAL

Westfield, MA, MA-Senior Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) placed 12th (288 competitors), finishing in the top-15 for the second straight race, with a time of 26:34.43 to lead the Rhode Island College menís cross country team to a sixth place (26 teams) finish at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State.

The Anchormen totaled a score of 258. Vassar won the meet with a score of 75.

 

Sophomore Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 30th with a time of 27:30.46. Freshman Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 55th with a time of 28:13.37.

Sophomore Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) placed 72nd with a time of 28:38.50. Classmate Austin Pena (Warwick, RI) placed 132nd with a time of 29:49.15.

 

Sophomore Conor Breagy (Exeter, RI) placed 165th with a time of 30:31.21. Freshman Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) placed 180th with a time of 30:55.22.

 

Freshman Ian McCord (Bristol, RI) placed 234th with a time of 33:19.12.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 16.
