ANCHORMEN PLACE 17TH AT
ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bristol, RI-Senior Mike Macedo (North Scituate, RI) led the Rhode Island College men's cross country team by placing 23rd (300 competitors) with a time of 26:57.23  at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Cross Country Championships held at Colt State Park.

The Anchormen placed 17th overall (44 teams) with a score of 435 points.  Williams won the meet with a score of 94.

 

Sophomore Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 55th with a time of 27:40.98. Sophomore Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) finished 103rd with a time of 28:23.18. Freshman Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) came in 117th with a time of 28:39.65.

 

 Sophomore Austin Pena (Warwick, RI) placed 146th with a time of 29:02.85. Freshman Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) finished 192nd with a time of 30:04.11.

 

Sophomore Kevin Carey (Wakefield, RI) placed 225th with a time of 30:46.55. 

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the N.E. Championships, held at Mount Greylock High School and hosted by Williams, on Saturday, Nov. 13.
