ANCHORMEN PLACE 10th
AT WILDCAT INVITATIONAL

Cranston, R.I.-The Rhode Island College men's golf team placed 10th (18 teams) at the Johnson & Wales Wildcat Invitational played at Cranston Country Club on April 17-18.

 

 

 Freshman Tim Leigh

 

The Anchormen totaled a score of 656 (330, 326), which was +72 for the tournament. Salem State won the invitational with a score of 620 (314, 306; +52).

 

Freshman Tim Leigh (Somerset, MA) tied for eighth with a score of 156 (80, 76), which was +14.

 

Sophomore Kyle Harper (Rehoboth, MA) tied for 44th with a score of 165 (83, 82; +23). Sophomore Kyle Garcia (Rehoboth, MA) (87, 80) tied for 51st overall with a score of 167 (+25).

Senior Bryan Picinisco (Dartmouth, MA) (82, 86) tied for 53rd overall with a score of 168 (+26).

 

 Sophomore Joe Quinn (Dedham, MA) tied for 70th at 174 (85, 89; +32).

 

In upcoming action, the Anchormen will compete at the Worcester State Invitational on April 19.
