N’TOW & AMADO GARNER WEEKLY
LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE RECOGNITION

Providence, RI-The Little East Conference honored Rhode Island College sophomore George N’Tow (Providence, RI) and freshman Craig Amado (Providence, RI) for their respective performances at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by MIT on Saturday, May 7.

 

N’Tow was named the Little East Conference Track Athlete of the Week. He earned All-New England honors in two events, placing fourth in the 400m (49.54) and second as part of the 4x400m relay, which established a new program record (3:19.89).

Amado was named the Little East Conference Rookie Field Athlete of the Week. He earned All-New England honors in three events, placing second in the triple jump (14.25m), fifth in the 400m (49.62) and second as part of the 4x400m relay, which established a new program record (3:19.89). It is the third time this spring he has received this honor.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the New England Open Championships, hosted by Southern Connecticut on Friday and Saturday, May 13-14.
