MANGUM & DiBLASI EARN ALL-ECAC
HONORS AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Three Program Records Fall as RIC Ties for 40th

New York, N.Y.Sophomore Kim Mangum (Warwick, RI) earned All-ECAC honors in the triple jump, placing eighth (11.28m) with a new program record effort, as the Rhode Island College women's indoor track field team competed at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships held at New York University.

 

The Anchorwomen tied for 40th (47 teams) with a team score of 2.0. The College of New Jersey won the meet with a score of 58.0.

 

 

 Sophomore Kim Mangum

 

 Senior Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield, RI) earned All-ECAC honors in the 500m, placing eighth (1:19.00).

 

 

 Senior Kayla DiBlasi

 

 Mangum and  DiBlasi, along with freshmen Jessica Graham (Wakefield, RI) and Katie Palumbo (Greenville, RI), broke the program record in the 4x400m relay for the second consecutive week, placing 17th (4:06.27).

 

 Senior Katie Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) broke her own program record in the 3,000m, placing 14th (10:35.51).
