WILDCATS HAND ANCHORWOMEN, 8-1, LOSS
Belanger Prevents Shutout With Win at No. 3 Singles

Providence, RI-Junior Doris Belangerís (West Warwick, RI) victory at No. 3 singles proved to be the lone bright spot for the Anchorwomen on Tuesday afternoon as they fell to Johnson and Wales, 8-1, at the RIC Tennis Courts.

After the Wildcats (1-1) swept the Anchorwomen (0-5) in doubles to open the match, Belanger escaped with her second singles victory of the season (6-3, 7-5) to put RIC on the board for its lone win of the day.
