RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE PLACES 13th
AT THE JAMES EARLEY INVITATIONAL
Alyssa O’Connor Places 29th

Westfield, Mass.-Freshman Alyssa O’Connor (Portsmouth, RI) placed 29th (354 runners) with a time of 19:58.80 as the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team placed 13th (38 teams) at the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen totaled a score of 405. Coast Guard won the meet with a score of 68.

Sophomore Jacqueline Hurteau (North Kingstown, RI) placed 77th with a time of 21:00.99, while sophomore Chelsea Marshall (New Bedford, MA) finished 88th with a time of 21:17.16.

 

Freshman Kayla Cataldo (Ronkonkoma, NY) placed 110th with a time of 21:34.42. Junior Allyson Bejma (Pawtucket, RI) placed 163rd with a time of 22:32.50.

 

Senior Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 184th with a time of 23:07.69. Junior Cameron Osteen (Steamboat Springs, CO) placed 237th with a time of 24:16.57.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will face Eastern Connecticut in a dual competition on Saturday, Oct. 15.
