CATALDO PACES ANCHORWOMEN AT ECAC
CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Williamstown, Mass.-Rhode Island College freshman Kayla Cataldo (Ronkonkoma, NY) placed 106th (276 runners) with a time of 26:25.40 at the 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships, hosted by Williams College at Mt. Greylock High School.

 

The Anchorwomen did not score as a team. Middlebury won the championship with a score of 25 in the 40-team field.

 

 

 Freshman Kayla Cataldo

 

Sophomore Chelsea Marshall (New Bedford, MA) placed 130th with a time of 26:53.93.

 

Senior Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 164th with a time of 27:44.46.

 

Junior Allyson Bejma (Pawtucket, RI) placed 228th with a time of 29:52.55.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by Bowdoin on Saturday, Nov. 12.
