ANCHORMEN WRAP UP SEASON AT
NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brunswick, Maine-The Rhode Island College menís cross country team finished the 2011 season by finishing 27th (48 teams) with a score of 882.0 at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by Bowdoin. Williams won the championship with a score of 88.

 

Junior Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 67th (322 runners) with a time of 26:11.83. Sophomore Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 191st with a time of 28:21.20.

Junior Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) placed 195th with a time 28:26.78, while freshman Ian LaPlume (Hope Valley, RI) finished 214th with a time of 29:00.79.

 

Junior Austin Pena (Warwick, RI) finished 221st with a time of 29:08.17.

 

Freshman Marcus Sandoval (Portsmouth, RI) finished 225th with a time of 29:13.50, while sophomore Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) placed 250th with a time of 29:52.06.
